Well its been a long time i have posted here... got busy with some personal work and some photo walks etc. etc...well I am back :)

OK lets get to the shot..this is a species of heron found in the tropics subtropics and warm temperate zones. First they were found only in Asia, Europe and Africa but now it has successfully colonised in almost all the parts of the world .They usually feed on insects, grasshoppers, spiders and other small insects.
I took this shot at Guwahati, India. I was lucky enough to get this shot. Thanks to the Light conditions but yea the framing is not perfect.
